How do I know Electronic cigarettes can help you quit smoking cigarettes?… From my own personal experience!
I had been a heavy smoker for over 30 years and had tried everything to quit from the patch, gum, pills, hypnosis etc. The only thing that got me off tobacco was the e-cig.
The first time I tried it I found the sensation very similar to smoking and within a few days I had stopped smoking cigarettes. My smoking friends were very curious and tried mine and now at least 95% have quit tobacco with the help of e-cig and then quit electronic cigs. Within two weeks I felt I had more energy to climb my stairs and enjoyed taking long walks- something I had not done in a long time. My taste improved and I still enjoyed puffing the e-cig with my morning coffee like I did before quitting. One of the greatest benefits was how happy my family and friends were to not have to deal with my smelly house and car. Slowly I cut down the percentage of nicotine from 12% to 0% and now only vape flavoured e-liquids which I only puff occasionally as opposed to a pack or more a day. When I see people smoking today I am so glad I am not inhaling the some 7000 toxic chemicals that cigarettes contain. People will look back in the future with amazement at at how stupid human beings were to keep smoking while knowing the risks. Nicotine is so very additive and is a very difficult habit to break. Big cigarette companies are not happy with this new trend and are trying very hard to impose restrictions upon usage and locations of vaping. If you can not quit ” cold turkey ” and until there is definitive proof the e-liquids are harmful I think this is one of the best ways of being tobacco free !
